Since you mention a CD, that strongly suggests you have one of the Office 2013 bundles. You have to clarify, exactly what Office 2013 bundle did you buy? One of the "Office 2013 ?" bundles, or one of the "Office 365 ?" bundles? ![]() ![]() Is there any way I can install Office 2013 on the new laptop despite not being able to deactivate it on the crashed PC? Can I legally install Office 2013 on more than one PC, or is there a 'glitch' in the system that erroneously allowed 3 installs?Ģ. The problem:īecause of the laptop crashing, I couldn't deactivate Office 2013 on it and when the new laptop arrived, once again I went to install Office 2013 and got a message "The maximum number of activations has been reached and no more licenses are available"ġ. I finally bought a new Windows 8 laptop, deactivated office on the Windows 7 laptop and reinstalled it on the new Windows 8 laptop, No problem! However shortly after that my new laptop crashed, and the manufacturer sent me a new replacement laptop. At one time, My laptop started acting weird, and I used the same product key that came with the CD and email conformation for each. When I purchased Office 2013 I installed it on 3 computers: one desktop one laptop and one netbook.
